South Coast Summer Bass video

Off season is a good time to go through all the footage captured in the previous months, so while I at it I also put another video together and uploaded it on Youtube. This time it’s the summertime bass adventures on the South Coast, NSW. Hope you’ll like this one. Enjoy!

Land of the Jurassic Trout video

Uploaded a video to Youtube of my New Zealand South Island trip couple months ago. Two weeks flew by in a heart beat, but what an adventure it was. Enjoy watching it and subscribe to my youtube channel if you haven’t yet, there should be a couple more videos coming in the next month or so.

Blue Mountains Rainbows

Here’s my recent video that I shot over a few fishing days in Autumn last season in the Blue Mountains. Fishing was red hot, trout smashing grasshoppers with an eager and aggression most times. So I took my chances to capture some of the eats on film and it turned out pretty good I think. Please take a look and I hope you’ll enjoy the short film.

From highlands to rainforest

Tassie you beauty!
With easing of an interstate travel restrictions on the horizon now, all the keen trout fishos should add Tassie to their list as one of the places to visit this summer. People and businesses definitely need your support during these hard times and every penny spent in the region would help them regardless. To the flyfishers like myself Tasmania is probably best known for its sensational trout fishing in the lakes. Not sure why but I always prefered the sound of a gurgling water, the boulders and a curiosity to see what’s around the next river bend over the still water. And Tasmania certainly has some amazing rivers that run through and incredible terrain and landscape. Trout that live there have the most incredible markings on them that I’ve ever seen. In the last few weeks I was going through the footage I’d taken back in April while in Tassie and realized that I could probably stitch a short video of that trip together. So here it is.

Where rivers never sleep

Short video of a trip I did back in April chasing a hopper hungry brown trout in Victoria’s High Country. So cool to go through all the clips I’d taken back then and now having bit of extra time and putting them together to come up with this clip. Hopefully I captures Autumn goodness in the remote part of North East Victoria. Tight lines.

Alpine Trout

Another video from my spring time trip to the Kosciuszko National Park this year. After completing a hike on the main range, I then decided to spend couple of days wondering around the high plains and exploring the rivers and creeks there. Days were sunny and bright so trout were not easy to find. But most of the time it’s just a matter of putting some kilometers in and finally you’ll spot that gorgeous alpine trout hiding behind a rock. Happy watching.

Mountains Await

Hiking the Main Range of the Kosciuszko National Park in spring has been on my list for years now, and finally I made it happen. Mountain peaks and some tracks are still covered in snow, alpine flowers are blooming and rivers are in a full flow – what an amazing sight to see and to wake up to. I put this short video together that hopefully captures the beauty of the Australian Alps and shows that the land Down Under is not only beaches and desert. Hope you’ll enjoy this one.

Land of Volcanic Trout video

Just some footage I put together from the trip to NZ North Island last year I turned it into a mini story and called it ‘Land of Volcanic Trout’. Brings back good memories of NZ nature, rivers and hell lotta fish. Happy watching

Late Summer Bass Video

Managed to put together a quick video from the bass fishing trip we did to the Mid North Coast couple of months ago. Just before things got quiet and bass moved all the way downstream to their spawning grounds. We were still able to get occasional hits off the top but most of the fish were already sitting deep in the water column and much more keen on hitting a bass vampire or a clouser type of fly.
